Tim Coleman will be entering his tenth season with the women's basketball program at Berks.  Coleman is the all time winningest coach in women's basketball history at Penn State Berks posting a 114-113 (.502) record entering this season.

The 2008-2009 ended with a trip to the NEAC Championship game where Berks fell to Keuka College. The Nittany Lions ended the season just one win shy of capturing their first NEAC Championship and advancing to the NCAA tournament for the first time in school history.

Coach Coleman saw great success in the CCAC (Commonwealth Campus Athletic Conference) winning 4 consecutive championships and compiling a 33-4 record.  In the NEAC the road has not been as easy, the two years in the conference the women's basketball program has gone 16-34 overall and 11-16 in NEAC play.  Coleman has led the team into the post season both seasons in the NEAC but is still looking to advance past the first round.

Coach Coleman is a local product graduating from Wyomissing Area High School where he was a 3 sport athlete and basketball standout.  He was an integral part in the basketball team capturing a county and district title which earned him Male Athlete of the Year Honors his senior year.  Coleman continued his playing career at Penn State Berks and helped lead the basketball team to a Northeastern PA Junior College Championship.

Coach Coleman graduated from West Chester University and now serves as the Assistant Athletic Director and Intramural Director at Penn State Berks.
