The Nittany Lions held the advantage on the glass out rebounding the Screaming Eagles 31-25 in game and also forced 24 Eagles turnovers to the Nittany Lions 18.  Penn State Berks shot well for the game at 44.6% but hurt themselves at the charity stripe shooting just 45.5% for the game.

Penn State Berks fell behind early in the game as the Eagles used an 11-4 run over the opening five minutes of the game to build their largest lead of the game at 7 points.  The Nittany Lions answered with eight unanswered points with Dorian Bishop (Junior/South Plainfield) scoring four points during that stretch to take their first lead of the game at 12-11.  The two teams would battle for control the remainder of the half as Berks went into the locker rooms up 30-28.

The Screaming Eagles again used the opening minutes of the second half to build a seven point advantage.  They opened up the half on an 11-2 run that put them up 39-32 with 16 minutes remaining in the game.  The Nittany Lions fought back and held a 51-47 lead with just over five minutes remaining in the contest but late turnovers and poor shooting opened the door for St. Elizabeth.

St. Elizabeth regained the lead for good on a Melinda Levenduksy layup and opened up a six point lead at the foul line with Levensuksy and Bridget Sweeney each hitting a pair from the line.  The Nittany Lions would get no closer than three points the rest of the way and fell 60-55.
