Men’s Cross Country Places 17th at Elizabethtown

October 25, 2008 - Reading, PA. The men finished 17th at the Battle of the Buggy held at Elizabethtown College this past Saturday.      

The men were led by Andy Lowy (Freshman/Freedom) who finished the 6K race in a time of 24:56 which placed him 82nd on the day.  Josh Endy (Freshman/Owen J. Roberts) and Andrew Gordon (Freshman/Lewisburg) rounded out the top three runners for Berks finishing 91st and 94th.  Endy posted a time of 25:52 while Gordon finished in a time of 26:21.  

The men's team compiled a team score of 474 points on the day placing them nine points behind Penn State Harrisburg.   Luke Shoemaker (Senior/Middle Township) and Alan Nichol (Freshman/Avon Grove) rounded out the team scoring placing 103 and 104 respectively.
