Mike Moyer will begin his fourth season with the men's golf program.
Coach Moyer rejoined the coaching ranks in 2005-2006 with the men's golf team. The season served as Moyer's first coaching stint since he left the Berks Men's Soccer program in 2002. Moyer has been a staple at Penn State Berks since 1970 when he started out as a Professor in the Kinesiology Department which he continues today. During his time at Penn State Berks, Moyer has served as Athletic Director, Intramural Director, and Program Coordinator for Wellness Development.
Moyer began his coaching career at Penn State Berks in 1970 when he began a 10 year run as the head men's wrestling coach. Moyer posted a 25-27-13 record with the wrestling team and captured a NJCAA Regional Championship in 1972-73. Moyer also headed the Men's Soccer Program from 1972-2002 where he earned five CCAC Championships and was named Coach of the Year four times.
